Michael Asma has been a key member of The Business Edit team for the past three years. He began his career in accounting in 1999 within the hospitality industry and has remained deeply connected to the financial side of business operations ever since.

Over the years, Michael has worked in — and owned — businesses across multiple industries, including hospitality, mining, and property maintenance. Regardless of the sector, the financial management and operational reporting side of the business has always been his primary focus.

After many years in private industry, Michael recognized that his true passion lies in the core financial foundations that help businesses grow and succeed. Joining The Business Edit gave him the opportunity to step away from the corporate environment, work more independently, and build the work-life balance he values — while doing the work he genuinely enjoys.
